Cyclone Amphan: PM Modi announces Rs 500 crore assistance for Odisha

Prime Minister Narendra Modi conducted aerial survey of the cyclone Amphan affected areas in Odisha on May 22.

He was accompanied by CM Naveen Patnaik.

Soon after the aerial survey, Prime Minister Modi chaired a review meeting.

Prime Minister announced financial relief assistance of Rs 500 crore to Odisha.

Prime Minister had earlier visited West Bengal to assess the situation where he announced assistance of Rs 1000 crore.
