First responders in New Jersey help save a fawn that somehow got stuck in a hole

This morning at around 8:44 a.m.

The Hackettstown Fire Department and Police Department assisted with rescuing a fawn that was trapped approximately five feet down a hole at a residence on Valentine St.

A backhoe was used to dig a larger hole and it took approximately one hour to safely remove the fawn.

The fawn was uninjured and left nearby for its mother.
