CM Thackeray visits MMRDA's 1,000-bed temporary COVID-19 hospital

Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray and Deputy CM Ajit Pawar on May 18 visited Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA)'s 1,000 bed temporary COVID-19 hospital made at Bandra Kurla Complex Ground.

Nearly 650 workers worked at any given point of time and built this hospital within 15 days.

BMC will start admitting the patients in next 2-3 days.

There are 100 ICU beds and 900 isolation beds, along with this around 504 beds will have oxygen supply.

A lab to examine the patients, X-ray and ECG facilities will also be available in the hospital.
