Biden Campaign Sees Larger Battleground Map

The Presidential election is slated to be held on November 3rd, 2020.

Reuters reports that Democratic candidate Joe Biden's campaign thinks there could be as many as 16 states up for grabs on election day.

Biden believes that President Donald Trumpโ€™s coronavirus response opened new battlegrounds in places like Arizona.

โ€œWe believe that there will be battleground states that have never been battleground states before,โ€ said Bidenโ€™s campaign manager, Jen Oโ€™Malley Dillon, in an optimistic strategy briefing for reporters on Friday.

Oโ€™Malley Dillon included Arizona, Texas and Georgia among states that have been traditionally Republican states.

O'Malley Dillion thinks those states could fuel a historic Biden victory on election day.
