Yet a source told ABC News that Cohen will remain in jail, although the reason why is unknown.

According to Newser, other inmates who were also going to be released to home confinement are being kept.

Cohen and other inmates were going to be released because several were infected with COVID-19.

A Cohen attorney said they still may be released but are waiting for a review of their “compassionate release applications.”
