Modalities being finalised for inter-state travel of stranded citizens: Delhi Police

After Government of India issued new guidelines to provide travel allowance to migrant workers, students, pilgrims among others, Delhi Police PRO, MS Randhawa said the Delhi Government is finalising modalities for movement of people of other states.

Randhawa said, "Government of India has issued guidelines regarding movement of migrant labourers, students, pilgrims and tourists.

Regarding it, Delhi Government and Police are finalising modalities for movement of people of other states.

We are in touch with resident commissioners of different states.

People will need to register themselves for the travel.

I want to appeal to all these people to pay attention to any social media post until we make a plan for travelling.

Please don't pay heed to rumours.

We will take action against such people who'll spread rumours."
