UP to bring back migrant workers from other states in a phased manner | Oneindia News

Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said the state will bring back migrant workers from the state who are stuck in other parts of the country amid the lockdown to combat coronavirus.

Covid-19 cases in India crossed the 23,000-mark while the death toll rose to 718 on Friday morning, according to the Union health ministry data.

With the virus taking a toll on the economy, the Union government is weighing options for a stimulus to protect wages of workers employed in micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) as the sector fights a survival battle.
