Farmers in India have destroyed millions of flowers due to a lack of demand under the COVID-19 lockdown.

In footage filmed on April 21 in Jodhpur, Rajasthan where the Marigold flower is cultivated, a farmer named Yedram is seen destroying his crops.

He said: "Every year in the district of Jodhpur farmers grow flowers worth 5 crores but due to lockdown, there is no demand.
