U.S. Coronavirus Deaths Surge To Over 42,000 As Protesters Demand Stay At Home Orders End

U.S. coronavirus deaths continue to climb and have increased to over 41,000 as of Monday afternoon.

As the loss of life continues to grow, protesters continue to gather in state capitals to demand an early end to the lockdown.

According to Reuters, health officials urge caution in lifting restrictions until more testing becomes available.

Experts are still calling for stay-at-home measures and social distancing which slow the spread of the virus.

The United States has the world’s largest number of confirmed coronavirus cases, with more than 784,000 infections.

Last week in the US 2,806 people lost their lives to the novel coronavirus in a single day, the most for a 24 hour period.
