Rep. Swalwell Says His CA County is ‘Being Rewarded, Healthwise’ For Staying Inside

A few days before California Governor Gavin Newsom issued a statewide shelter-in-place order, becoming the first governor to do so, seven Bay Area counties issued their own orders, and are starting to see signs that the decision was the right one.

Alameda County, one of those seven counties, has the second most COVID-19 cases in the Bay Area, but a much lower count than hotspots around the nation.
