In the face of the coronavirus outbreak, Hong Kong's subway operator MTR (Mass Transit Railway) deployed a fleet of mini-fridge-sized robots to help deep disinfect its trains and stations.

The robots can reach smaller areas and help humans avoid contamination The technology is normally used in hospitals and labs to help with deep disinfection
