With bars now closed, there is an uptick in business at area liquor stores.

The owner tells me that they have seen a 70 percent increase in sales.

Apollo wine and spirits has been serving the community for over 50 years.

Bryan kings is the current owner.

He says they've seen an uptick in business due to the changes surrounding the corona virus.

People who ordinarily buy one bottle of wine are now adding two or three to their cart.

But despite business being good king says every day is a gamble.

Sot: if everyday we are struggling with how much to purchase to resupply our stores with in the event that we are shut down by the state.

And that is always on our mind is how much should we be purchasing this day to replenish what we sold for the previous day and we certainly dont want to be sitting on a lot of inventory if we are closed for a couple of weeks.
