Drone footage shows massive aftermath of pile-up involving dozens of vehicles on Chinese highway

Drone footage shows the aftermath of a massive pile-up involving dozens of vehicles on G22 Qingdao–Lanzhou Expressway on January 15.

In the video, filmed in the city of Dingxi in Gansu Province, dozens of vehicles are seen crushed together on a 200-metre-long section of the road while it was snowing.

According to reports, the incident was caused by the icy road and the road was congested for around three hours.

Nine injured people were rescued by firefighters, no deaths were reported.
