Final Fight
Final Fight (ใƒ•ใ‚กใ‚คใƒŠใƒซใƒ•ใ‚กใ‚คใƒˆ - Fainaru Faito) is a side-scrolling beat-'em-up electronic game originally released by Capcom as an arcade in 1989, one of the most famous games for this style of play. It was the seventh game released by Capcom for its CPS-1 (CAPCOM System 1) arcade system. The player takes on one of three "good guys" to try to rescue a young woman captured by the street gang called "Madmociad Gear", who coincidentally is the daughter of Mike Haggar, one of the characters the player can choose from and who is also the mayor of the city in where the game takes place (Metro City). When the game was officially designed, it would be released as a sequel to the original Street Fighter game, and would be called Street Fighter '89, but the game had its title changed because of the big difference in style between the two games (Even so, the The game has ties to the Street Fighter series, and along with the first game in the series, was the precursor to Capcom's Street Fighter series), ranging from a common fighting game to a side-scrolling action game like Double Dragon or Golden Ax . Final Fight has been ported to several platforms, such as the Super Nintendo and Sega CD, since its original coin-based game (in arcades). Final Fight was followed by a series of sequels that were produced primarily for the home console market (Super Nintendo) and some of the game's characters would later re-appear in Street Fighter games.
