a deal with GM, employees at Stellantis
also voted to approve new labor contracts.
ABC reports that another tentative deal at Ford
appears to be headed toward approval.
The new contracts reportedly include a record 25%
raise spread across four years, in addition to pension
improvements and the right to protest plant closures.
The deals have been praised by President Joe Biden,
who said he hoped the new contracts will inspire a wave
of unionization across the automobile industry.
