In September, a poll conducted by the KFF COVID-19
Vaccine Monitor suggested that nearly twice as
many adults said they planned to get the vaccine.
According to that poll, 23% of adults said they were
"definitely" planning on getting the updated booster,
while another 23% said they would "probably" get one.
The latest vaccine targets variants
currently in circulation, which are an offshoot
of the Omicron variant known as XBB.
