SLBC tunnel collapse: 8 workers still trapped under Telangana tunnel; PM Modi calls CM Reddy, assures aid

Telangana Tunnel Collapse: Rescue Operation Underway, Survival Chances Of Trapped Workers Very Less
The rescue operation at the SLBC tunnel collapse site in Telangana’s Nagarkurnool district continues as eight workers remain trapped for over 72 hours. Telangana Minister Jupally Krishna Rao stated that the chances of survival are “very remote” due to debris blocking the tunnel. A team of expert rat miners has joined the efforts. Sniffer dogs were deployed but struggled due to water accumulation. Deputy CM Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka is expected to visit the site today to oversee the ongoing rescue mission.
