Kashi hotels warned against overcharging Maha Kumbh pilgrims

Varanasi district magistrate SRajalingam has formed teams to monitor hotel rates charged from pilgrims during the Maha Kumbh at Prayagraj. ACM (First) Shantanu Kumar Sinsinwar conducted surprise inspections and mandated that operators display rate lists and not overcharge, warning of strict consequences for non-compliance.
