'Jobless men' who abducted Sunil Pal bought gold with ransom money, gave comedian Rs 20K to fly back to Mumbai

Comedian Sunil Pal was kidnapped in Meerut and held for ransom after being lured there for a fake comedy show. The kidnappers extorted ₹7.5 lakh, used it to buy jewelry, and gave Pal ₹20,000 for his return flight. Meerut jewelers reported the suspicious transactions after being contacted by police, aiding the investigation.
