Kerala: Stepdad gets death sentence for raping 5-year-old girl

A court in Kerala has sentenced a 26-year-old man to death for the rape and murder of his five-year-old stepdaughter. The Tamil Nadu native inflicted 67 wounds on the child using a knife and ladle. The court determined the heinous crime occurred while the victim's mother was away at work.
