‘No evidence’, 3 acquitted in 2006 Gujarat station blast case

An Ahmedabad court acquitted three men accused in the 2006 Kalupur railway station bombing, citing lack of evidence. Mohammed Amir Shaikh, Aquib Saiyed, and Aslam Kashmiri were accused of planting an RDX bomb on the Karnavati Express. While acquitted in this case, Shaikh and Saiyed remain imprisoned for other crimes.
