IAS officer cheated of Rs 1 crore with promise of high investment returns

A Delhi-based IAS officer has reported being defrauded of over Rs 1 crore by an individual posing as an investment expert. The accused, introduced through a relative, allegedly convinced the officer to invest in currency trading with promises of high returns, only to disappear after partial repayments.
