Shimla mosque dispute: VHP leaders, ex-councillors among those booked for violent protest

In Shimla, fifty individuals, including VHP leaders and panchayat chiefs, were booked for violence during a protest demanding the demolition of an illegal mosque portion. Clashes with police resulted in injuries. The Muslim community has offered to demolish the unauthorised part to maintain harmony and brotherhood.
