Goa governor P S Sreedharan Pillai has stirred controversy by commenting on the decline of Christians in Goa, noting a decrease from 36% to 25%, while the Muslim population rose from 3% to 12%. He clarified that his remarks were not targeting any religion and suggested conducting a study on these demographic changes.
