Railways accepts Vinesh Phogat, Bajrang Punia's resignation with immediate effect

The Railways accepted the resignations of wrestlers Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia, effective immediately. This enables Phogat to contest the Haryana assembly polls as a Congress candidate. Both athletes joined the Congress party recently, with Phogat running from Julana constituency in the upcoming elections.
