Entire Ballia police station staff suspended, 2 cops among 18 held for extortion

Eighteen people, including two police constables, were arrested in Ballia for extortion at the UP-Bihar border. Following the raid, authorities suspended 19 police personnel and filed an FIR against 23 individuals. Enhanced monitoring is planned.
