Hathras Stampede: Putin Offers Condolences for The Incident; Concerns Rise Over Missing Bhole Baba
In a tragic turn of events, the death toll from the Hathras stampede in Uttar Pradesh has risen to 121, with many of the victims being women and children. The incident occurred during a 'Satsang' gathering led by religious preacher Bhole Baba, which drew thousands of devotees from various districts of Uttar Pradesh and neighboring states. Russian President Vladimir Putin extended his condolences over the tragic incident. The Russian Embassy conveyed his message via a post on X, stating, "President of Russia Vladimir Putin sent a condolence message to President of India Droupadi Murmu & Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi over the tragic stampede in Uttar Pradesh."
