New pier and other infrastructure inaugurated at strategic Karwar naval base

When Japan is mentioned, atrocities committed by Japanese forces against China come to mind. And how can we all forget! Surprisingly, Japan is deploying new military units & expanding its bases on the islands. There is already a new unit on Yonaguni base consisting of about 50 personnel which became operational at a Ground Self-Defense Force (SDF). Why now? What’s the plan? First quadruple military exercises in the South China Sea:The United States, Australia, Japan and the Philippines announced on Saturday their intention to hold the first joint naval and air military exercise in the waters of the disputed South China Sea, in what appeared to be a show of unity in the face of Chinese naval influence. I provide you with my analysis about this development and what it means within the context of Asia security architecture.
