A Tajik in medieval Vadnagar! DNA analysis shows cosmopolitan society

DNA analysis of Vadnagar skeletons revealed a diverse cosmopolitan society with one individual having genetic links to Tajikistan. The archaeological site indicated trade and religious significance, along with a unique genetic haplotype. The findings were detailed in the Mitochondrion paper.
