Six women raped every day in Gujarat in FY23

Gujarat reported an average of six rape cases per day in 2022-23, with Ahmedabad reporting one per day, a 1% reduction from the previous year. The state also saw a significant number of gang rape cases, with efforts underway to apprehend the accused.
