Over 2,600% growth in no. of bar hotels in Kerala in 8 years

Kerala has witnessed a staggering growth rate of 2,662% in bar hotels, rising from 29 in 2016 to 801 presently due to liberalization of excise policy. The growth is concentrated in districts like Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, and Thrissur, while Wayanad and Idukki have low business.
