On Saturday, a devastating explosion rocked a firecracker factory in the Vembakottai area of Tamil Nadu's Virudhunagar, claiming the lives of at least nine individuals and leaving several others injured. The magnitude of the blast was so severe that four buildings, in addition to the factory, were reduced to rubble.
