Supreme Court refuses to entertain PIL on prisoner biometrics law

Supreme Court on Monday refused to entertain a PIL challenging validity of the Criminal Procedure (Identification) Act, 2022 which allows collection of various biometric measurements of accused, and allowed the petitioner to approach high court.
