The Indian Navy continues to demonstrate its prowess on the high seas, with the successful rescue of 17 crew members from an Iran-flagged fishing vessel MV Iman, which had been hijacked by Somalian pirates. The daring operation took place 700 nautical miles west of Kochi in the Arabian Sea, with the Indian Navy warship INS Sumitra leading the charge.
