Railways starts recruitment of 5.7k loco pilots

After completing recruitment of 1.5 lakh employees, Indian Railways has started the process of recruiting 5,696 assistant loco pilots (ALPs) even when there are only 3,190 vacancies.Railway minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said that recruitment of personnel will increase with expansion of railway network.
