Mamata Banerjee vows to โ€˜fight aloneโ€™ in Lok Sabha polls from Bengal | Oneindia News
On Wednesday, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, who also leads the Trinamool Congress, declared that her party will participate in all constituencies in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in the state. The decision came after unsuccessful seat-sharing negotiations with Congress, a key ally in the INDIA bloc. Banerjee expressed disappointment, stating that her party's seat-sharing proposals were swiftly rejected by Congress. Emphasising that no discussions had taken place on the matter, she announced the Trinamool Congress's decision to independently contest in Bengal for the upcoming polls. Banerjee made these remarks before heading to Purba Bardhaman, where she is slated to preside over an administrative review meeting. #MamataBanerjee #LokSabhaPolls #FightAlone #BengalElections #TMC #CongressAlliance #RahulGandhi #INDIAAlliance #PoliticalBattle #SeatSharingDispute #WestBengalPolitics #SoloCampaign #Election2024 #PoliticalRift #TrinamoolCongress #CongressVsTMC #ElectoralDynamics #LeadershipStandoff #PoliticalDrama #AllianceStruggles ~PR.152~ED.194~GR.124~HT.96~
