Champat Rai, the general secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, has been involved in the meticulous construction of the Ram temple since its 'bhoomi pujan' in August 2020. Known as the 'encyclopedia of Ayodhya', Rai provided documentary evidence about Ram Lalla's abode during the intense legal battle.

On Thursday evening, ahead of the consecration ceremony at the Ram Temple, the idol of Shri Ram Lalla was ritually placed in the sanctum sanctorum. Crafted by sculptor Arun Yogi Raj, the idol's first image emerged, showcasing a childlike Ram Lalla. The consecration ceremony will be led by PM Modi and CM Yogi Adityanath on January 22.
