Bizman trying to book e-scooter loses Rs 68k to cybercrooks

Cybercrooks are targeting people buying electric scooters online by creating fake websites. Apurva Arora, a businessman, lost Rs 68,000 to one such gang when trying to book an electric scooter. Arora clicked on a sponsored link and called the displayed number, which turned out to be a fake customer care number.
