Drainage work in Mysuru’s Varuna unearths 11th century Jain sculptures

Drainage work on Ambedkar Road in Varuna town, Mysuru district, unearthed three Jain sculptures from the 11th century AD. The sculptures, including an idol of goddess Kushmandini Devi and two Jain Tirthankaras, were found at a depth of three feet.
