Covid-19: India reports 752 new cases, four deaths as concern for JN.1 variant grows

According to the Health Ministry, up to 325 persons recovered from COVID-19 in the last day, bringing the overall number of recoveries to 4,44,71,212. It was estimated that the country's recovery rate was 98.81 percent.

India on Thursday reported 358 new COVID-19 cases with six deaths in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry data said. Out of 358, Kerala has recorded 300 fresh cases. It is followed by Karnataka (13), Tamil Nadu (12), Gujarat (11), Maharashtra (10) and Telangana (5). However, the active cases in Kerala have now surpassed 2000.
