Chhattisgarh polls: Deadline for withdrawal of nomination ends, 223 candidates in fray for first phase of 20 seats

223 candidates are in the running for first phase of assembly polls in Chhattisgarh. The polls will be held on Nov 7 in 20 seats across seven Naxalite-affected districts. Highest number of candidates are in Rajnandgaon constituency, while there are 7 in Chitrakot and Dantewada seats.
