Maldivians, Portuguese national among 11 convicted in 4 NDPS cases in Tamil Nadu

In four separate narcotics smuggling cases pursued by the NCB, 11 individuals, including two Maldives nationals and one Portuguese national, have been convicted. The harshest penalty, a maximum of 12 years of rigorous imprisonment, was handed to all four individuals arrested in 2020 for attempting to smuggle 90.30kg of ganja.
