Around 43 people including 23 Army personnel and 20 civilians are missing in Sikkim after a cloudburst triggered flash floods in the Teesta River. As per the latest reports, three people died and 23 army personnel were washed away on Wednesday. The Army and the local administration have said that a massive search has been launched to locate the missing people. A statement by the Army's Eastern Command has said that some establishments along Lachen valley have been affected.
