Gujarat HC permits minor rape survivor’s abortion, tells mother not to pressure her

The Gujarat high court on Friday directed the medical superintendent of Gandhinagar Civil Hospital to undertake the procedure for termination of pregnancy of a 17-year-old upon her mother’s request. The accused in this case had opposed the request for abortion.
