Plaints filed against Udhayanidhi in Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh

Karnataka BJP functionary and advocate Nagaraja Nayak lodged a police complaint on Wednesday against Tamil Nadu minister and DMK youth wing head Udhayanidhi Stalin for remarks that were perceived as derogatory towards Sanatan Dharma.

Amid an ongoing row over Sanatana Dharma, an FIR was registered against Tamil Nadu youth welfare minister Udhayanidhi Stalin and Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge's son Priyank Kharge. Police said that the FIR was registered for allegedly outraging religious feelings. The FIR against that DMK leader and the Karnataka Minister was filed in Uttar Pradesh's Rampur after a complaint from advocates. The police said that Stalin was booked for his call to eradicate Sanatana Dharma and Kharge for backing his remark.
