Bengaluru’s stray dog population down 30% in 4 years

There is a 30% fall in the city's stray dog population from 2019, according to a recently concluded census. The exercise revealed that there are 2.2 lakh stray dogs in Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) limits, as against the 3.1 lakh which was found in the census conducted four years ago, a civic official said.
