President approves delimitation notification for Assam; CM Himanta Sarma hails 'milestone'

Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Wednesday said a "significant milestone has been achieved in the history of Assam", shortly after President Droupadi Murmu approved the Delimitation Notification issued by the Election Commission of India for the state.
