Kargil Vijay Diwas: Kargil War Memorial in Ladakh gets ready to commemorate victory I Oneindia News
Preparations are underway at Kargil War Memorial in Ladakh for the celebrations of Kargil Vijay Diwas on July 25. July 26 is celebrated as Kargil Vijay Diwas every year to observe India’s victory over Pakistan in 1999. This year, India will celebrate 24th Kargil Vijay Diwas. Kargil War was one of the toughest wars fought in the most inhospitable conditions, both due to its geographical and climatic conditions. During the war, the Indian Army recaptured the strategic peaks of Tololing, Tiger Hill, and Point 4875, among others. A wreath-laying ceremony will take place on July 26 giving tribute to the soldiers who sacrificed their lives during Kargil War. #Kargilvijaydiwas #Kargilwarmemorail #Kargilvijaydiwas2023 ~HT.178~PR.153~ED.155~
