5 lions feared missing after flash floods in Junagadh

At least five Asiatic lions are untraceable after the heavy downpour in Junagadh on Saturday, forcing the state forest department to conduct a lion survey in Gir, Girnar and the neighbouring revenue areas, said sources. The state is home to 674 Asiatic lions.
