Yellow alert in Mumbai today; Tansa dam nears overflow

The weather bureau in its forecast for Monday has issued a yellow alert for Mumbai and Thane indicating heavy rains at isolated places. Due to a continuous spell of rain, water stocks in the seven lakes which supply water to the city touched 50% on Sunday.
